AURORA BOREALIS

.......Aurora Borealis originated When Ron Vento parted ways with his former band Lestregus Nosferatus. Looking for new players He ventured to Florida where he met Tony Laureano (Nile, Dimmu Borgir , Angelcorpse). The two then Recorded the first MCD "Mansions OF Eternity" The CD was Mixed and mastered By Scott Burns and released on Nightsky productions. Upon Completion Ron relocated To Maryland and began the second CD.

......Being that Tony was very busy with other projects Ron called Long time friend Derek Roddy, (Hate Eternal , Malevolent Creation, Nile) to fill the drum position. Derek Agreed to record the drums on the CD and "Praise The Archaic Lights Embrace" was recorded at The Sound lab with Bob Moore and released also on Nightsky productions.

......The Third cd "Northern Lights" was also recorded with derek behind the drum throne at Nightsky Studios. Nightsky Productions released the cd in North America and Mexico and Die Hard Music released the cd to the rest of the world. After the Success of a total of 3 pressings of Northern Lights. Ron Started work on the 4th cd entitled "Time Unveiled". At that time Derek was in his now permanent band (Hate Eternal) and his schedule would not permit him to play on the Time Unveiled CD. Ron Once again Sought a new drummer and Tim Yeung (Vital Remains, Hate Eternal) was found. The CD was recorded at Nightsky Studios and released on Nightsky Productions again in North America and Die Hard Music handled the European market.

..... The Fifth Cd "Relinquish" was completed in 2006 and the the band had come Full circle at long last. Tony Laureano was once again in the drum position. The album was released only through Nightsky Productions.

.... After a long break the sixth album "Timeline...The Beginning and End of Everything" was written and Aurora Borealis again was in need of a drummer. Derek Roddy was originally slated to do the cd but schedules could not line up. Derek Suggested Mark Green for the drum spot and after sending an audition video mark was chosen from tons of audition videos for the recording. The Cd was once again released only by Nightsky Productions.

... The Seventh album is now in the works and slated for a late 2013 or early 2014 release.
